This post will be all about American Patries- how Europeans think they look like and how they really look like XD Before I came here I imagined American parties to be just like the ones you see in the movies... was I dissapointed? No WAY! It is even better than on the TV. I have been here the whole year and I got a chance to go for a few American parties. Of course the parties I have been to were mostly pool/jacuzzii parties hahah - that is the Island style <3 So what do you actually do on parties like that? Well apart from the obvious, we have played beer-pong and other odd games like keeping a ping-pong ball up in the air for as long as possible hahah...We played truth or dare, and we usualy stayed up all night. I will really miss it when I go back... I know that I will never be able to repeat what I experienced here, but oh well... I just have to remember -not to cry because its over, but to smile because it happened. Comming back to the topic, I have a few quite interesting stories from the parties. First things first... lets begin with my first party. It was around November, this is when I actually started making more real friends hahaha. It was a halloween themed party and it was awsome hahah. We started with curving our own pumpkins and then we lit up a fire and ate mashmelows -in the American way- with chocolate in between two pieces of gram cracker. After that we jumped in the pool ^_^. We started dunking each other and the guys started throwing the girls in te pool- everyone had to go in -even the girls without their swimsuits ended up in the water. I remember that afterwards we all went in the heart shaped jacuzzi and we all talked and played different games. Another party was the Valentines Day party. It was a special one (well like every other), because it ended up with a police intervention ahahah well it was not exactly how it may sound- we were good- Promise ;D. It was around 11 PM and we were all sitting in the jacuzzii and suddenly we heard a BOOM!!! Everyone rushed to see what happened- from the backyard we all went to the front of the house and all we saw was loads of glass and a crashed car. later we found out that a drunk woman from the party next door hit one of the cars that were parked in our driveway. "Don't call the police!" were the last words the woman said before the police came to file the report hahahah that party ended earlier than expected. Unfortunately... We also had a Winter party... basically we had a one for every other occasion we could find hahahha. The last party I have been to was my "see you later party". It was really hot that day, but we soon cooled off in the pool - then we ate American food (hahah of course hamburgers and amrerica-flag cookies) and then we sat in the jacuzzii <3 Thanks to those parties I met so many cool people!!! I will always remember them (hahah some things are just impossible to forget...) I will not give away all the details, because I think everyone knows how parties look like hahaha just watch an American teen movie- I bet you will see it there.
